My Child Versa Carry Cot has a hard body which co-ordinates with the Versa stroller to form a pram. It has a comfortable lie-flat position for newborns and the recline control in the base enables baby to be propped up. It is ergonomically designed and fully padded for extra comfort for your baby and is a great product, as I am sure you will agree

Here are some points about buying a carrycot

Carrycots used to be the essential part of a parent's kit when travelling or moving around. But with the arrival of fold-down travel cot's, Moses baskets and travel system pushchairs where car seats could click conveniently into a buggy, carrycots and huge old fashioned prams got a little sidelined. However, it is suggested that babies should not spend long periods of time in a car seat, due to the possible damage caused to their growing spines, and their inability to stretch out and move properly. Whilst lying flat, the option to use pram-style transportation has made a comeback.

Carrycots Unlike a lay-flat option in a push chair seat, a carrycot creates exactly what its name suggests: it is a small crib for your baby to sleep or rest in, when you're out and about or on the go. The carrycot can usually click into the frame of a pushchair to complete a specific travel system. It's most likely that you will choose a carrycot as part of your bigger choice of travel system.
A carrycot is suitable from birth and can be used usually until your baby is 9kg or 10kg (six to nine months, depending on the baby), or until your child can sit up in it.
